Machiko has been my daughter's piano teacher for about 3 years and my daughter loves her! She is extremely patient and excellent at handling kids (even a difficult one like mine)! She thoroughly teaches the fundamentals, but at the same time makes sure to let my daughter have fun and helps to build her confidence to the point where she is motivated to practice on her own! I highly recommend Machiko!

Machiko is awesome! She is patient, friendly, and skilled; she is also accommodating when there were times I needed to reschedule my daughter's lesson. My daughter was a newbie when she started her lessons with Machiko; she has learned so much in just a couple months, and enjoyed all her lessons. If Machiko didn't have to move away from SF, we'd have continued the lessons.
